Dear Valued Member,

With rising concern over virus prevention in our communities, we wanted to take a moment to share the steps First Peoples is taking to keep you and your family safe while doing business with us. Like you, we continue to actively monitor developments related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and we are heeding the guidance of health authorities and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We're focused on emphasizing healthy workplace habits throughout our organization, including frequent handwashing. Of course, we have re-emphasized that team members should stay home if they are feeling ill. Our existing cleaning procedures have been reinforced, and we've placed additional focus and cleaning frequency on high-touch areas including ATMs, ITMs, teller stations, pens and door handles.

As every family situation is unique and comfort levels vary, we wanted to take a moment to remind you about our "contactless" transaction options.

  • Drive-Thru Lanes are remaining open during regularly scheduled business hours.
  • ITMs located throughout our service area allow you to video conference with a teller and perform standard teller transactions.
  • ATMs are a great option for basic withdrawals and deposits.
  • FP@Home allows you to perform a multitude of account maintenance actions from any mobile device, including; transfers, Bill Payment, and loan payments.
  • The Mobile App is free to download and allows for basic account actions, along with the ability to make mobile deposits by using the camera on your mobile device.  (FP App is available for download in the Apple App or Google Play stores.)
  • Call Access Teller (CAT) is available to manage your accounts using any touch-tone phone. Review account transactions, identify cleared checks, transfer funds between accounts, and more.
  • The Member Connection Center (MCC)  is available to serve you via phone Mon - Fri: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Please visit for a list of ITM/ATM options in your area.

If you haven’t yet, please consider signing up for our digital services today by calling the Member Connection Center at 301-784-3000.

As a reminder, if you receive a call/email from First Peoples requesting account information, we urge you to contact us directly to ensure the protection and privacy of your information. Unfortunately, in these uncertain times, criminals may try to take advantage of the perceived vulnerability of our membership.

It is our privilege to serve you and your family and thank you for your trust. We remain committed to doing our very best to care for you, our team members, and the community during this evolving situation.

Take care,
